G-O!!!!! YOU KNOW!!!!!

Hello Panthers! This is my 6th year at GOMHS and I am excited to be teaching a variety of STEM classes.

I love all things tech-y, and am an avid student of science and history. In my free time you will find me watching documentaries and reading books about Boolean Operators, Ciphers, Vikings, Spartans, Hong Kong, The Cold War, and whatever topic piques my interest. Oh, and I LOVE Football! Go Panthers, Geaux Tigahs, Who Dat!

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigahs) after having began my college career as a music performance major. I also studeid at The University of the South, University of Chicago, Loyola University of Chicago, and University of Georgia.

I pursued a PhD in Biochemistry/Biophysics at LSU and have completed all of the coursework but still need to finish my research and dissertation.

Before becoming a teacher I have worked as a research scientist at Entek, LSU, Loyola University Med Center, University of Chicago, Exxon, and Fleur de Lis Hydroponics. I designed fertilizer systems and hydroponic nutrients at FDLH.

I have two children, Alex and Portia, and both are excellent artists. I also have a dog named Paz de la Huerta, and three cats named Marshall, Serena, Arsene.

I am greatly looking forward to working with y'all this year.
