The EBRPSS Accountability/Grants Office is dedicated to improving the district through seeking, developing, securing and managing federal, state and local grants. The goal is to provide resources that will help schools, teachers, and departments find additional funding to meet their needs so that students can be successful.

Grant Opportunity Highlights

      ADF offers two types of Grants:

The ADF Student Achievement Grant is designed to fund projects ranging in value from $500 to $5,000.

This grant is typically awarded to school employees directly working with students in an academic setting.

Eligible applicants include classroom teachers, reading recovery teachers, math specialists, librarians, technology directors, deans of students, and counselors.

 

The ADF Impact Grant is designed to award up to $15,000.

Funds can be used for projects and programs that extend beyond a single classroom and may include collaborations between multiple teachers, multiple schools, and nonprofit organizations.

 

The current Grant Portal is open to receive grant applications until November 30, 2024, for funding in January 2025.

Adult Literacy Grants

We award funding to organizations that provide direct services to adults in need of literacy assistance in one of the following areas:

Family Literacy Grants

Nonprofit organizations who support the whole family in literacy and are seeking funding are encouraged to apply if they provide all of the following:

Summer Reading

These grants support the creation or expansion of summer reading programs. Local nonprofit organizations, schools and libraries are eligible to apply if their programs meet the following criteria:

Youth Literacy Grants

Schools, public libraries, and nonprofit organizations who help K-12 students that are below grade level or having trouble reading are eligible to apply. Grant funding is provided to assist in the following areas:

 ADF Impact Grant


The ADF Impact Grant is designed to award up to $10,000. 


Funds can be used for projects and programs that extend beyond a single classroom and may include collaborations between multiple teachers, multiple schools, and nonprofit organizations.

Through Entergy’s Micro Grants Program, we accept requests for up to $1,000 in all program areas: arts and culture; community improvement/enrichment; economic development, education/literacy, environment and healthy families. 

Please make sure to submit your application at least three months prior to the time the requested funds are needed. We receive many applications throughout the year, and we need to allow sufficient time to review each request carefully. Once you have submitted your application online, please allow at least 8 (eight) to 12 (twelve) weeks for review and notification of the result of your request. If by that time Entergy has not contacted you, please feel free to call the appropriate contributions coordinator for your geographic area.
