EBR Public Schools' PreK Application Process
You Will Need the Following Documents to Apply:
Child’s Birth Certificate
Parent/Guardian’s Picture Identification
Up-to-Date Shot Record
Proof of Residence (2 Recent Bills: light, cable/internet, land line phone, water, lease agreement, or mortgage statement)
Proof of Income (one of the following)
2 Most Recent Check Stubs
SNAP/Food Stamp Benefits, etc.
Signed and dated letter from your employer with the rate of pay and number of hours worked per week.
Notification Timeline
Please allow at least 5 days for your application to be reviewed.
Parents will be contacted via email if application is missing informaton.
March 20, 2026 - 1st Round Application Period Ends
March 27, 2026 - Lottery Results Sent to Families
April 7, 2026 - Deadline for Families to Accept Seat Offer from 1st Round
Enrollment continues through the school year for open seats on a first come first served basis.

Child must be Age 4 by September 30th.
Screening will determine Pre-K Eligibility
Families not qualifying under federal guidelines for free tuition may pay a maximum of $485 monthly
Pre-K is not required therefore there are a limited number of seats available
