Good afternoon,
Thank you to those who attended the KS1 Reading cafe this morning, it was so lovely to see so many parents!
The children have had another great week in school, kickstarting their new topic of 'What was Britain like in the 1960's?'.
Next week is the final week of the Spring term and is set to be a busy but exciting week!
Wednesday- Whole school Easter Egg hunt.
Friday afternoon- Easter bonnet parade, please see the newsletter for further information.
The children will be continuing to learn about the Easter story in English and will begin writing their comic strip.
Year 2 Maths
We will be building on our multiplication understanding and starting division. The children will look at equal and unequal groups and start to apply their 2, 5 and 10 times tables to division questions. Here is a link to some fun and helpful games should your child want to practice their times tables and arithmetic https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/7-11-years/times-tables (2, 5 and 10 times tables and addition and subtraction within 100 only)
