Good afternoon,

The Team have had a fantastic week learning all about the Royal Family as part of our 'influential people' topic. They all looked amazing dressed as Kings and Queens! We had a lovely end to our week celebrating World Book Day and performing a poem with Team Derwent in assembly.

Friday- KS1 Reading Cafe 8:45-9:15. We invite you into school to read with your child and to enjoy a drink and a biscuit or cake for £1 per person. Please see further information on the main page of the newsletter.

Year 1 Maths

The children will be building on their addition and subtraction knowledge. They will be finding pairs/number bonds to 10, adding and subtracting one from any number and explaining that addition is commutative. 

Year 2 Maths

The children are reaching the end of their multiplication topic and this week they will be learning about halving. The children will then be using their knowledge of doubling, halving and the 2x table to solve problems.
