Good afternoon,

Next week is the whole school's 'learn through week' with the focus being 'influential people'. KS1 will be focusing on the Royal family and we have such an exciting week planned for the children!

Monday- DT Day! The children will be making crowns!

Wednesday- Dress up as a King or Queen for the day- how exciting! In the afternoon, the children will be taking part in a Royal Coronation and Procession in the hall, wearing the crowns they made on Monday.

Thursday- World Book Day. The children will be creating a class reading river and performing poetry. Please note it is school uniform as normal.

Friday- non uniform day/dress up day.

Year 1 Maths

The children will be building on their addition and subtraction knowledge. They will be continuing to write equations to match addition and subtraction stories along with working out a missing part if the other two parts of the equation are known. 

Year 2 Maths

The children are continuing to learn about doubling in multiplication. They will also be continuing with multiplying efficiently when one of the factors is two.
