Dear Families,
This week the children have had a lovely time thinking about and celebrating Easter. Thank you to all of our parents and carers for being so supportive with the events we have in school, the Easter bonnets and baskets the children have brought in are superb!
Thank you to everyone who attended our Easter Community Bingo event, it was a great success and children and adults alike thoroughly enjoyed it. Miss Price in particular have a great evening taking home lots of goodies! Thank you to FOSHA for the time and commitment for ensuing we can have these events in school, which ultimately goes on the benefit all children.
Mrs Bailey has been part of our Pupil Support Team for the last two years and has made the decision to leave us to pursue new and exciting opportunities. Mrs Bailey has worked with many of our parents throughout her time here and I know she will be missed. I would like to thank Mrs Bailey for everything she has done for the children and families at Staynor Hall and we wish her all the very best for her future.
Have a wonderful Easter break and we look forward to seeing you on Monday 8th April (just a reminder that Friday 12th April is a training day so school will be closed)
With very best wishes
Mrs Winter
What's Cooking?
Team Foss have continued to attend Cook School this week, making Libum Sweet Cheesecake. They have also learnt how to make a typical Roman Salad and thoroughly enjoyed using a pestle and mortar (known as a Mortarium in Roman times). Well done to all the children that attended, your cheesecake and salad were delicious!
A small group of children from Team Derwent and Team Dove also attended Cook School to make some delicious Easter cakes. They enjoyed using measuring cups and a wooden spoon and were brilliantly at carrying out a set of instructions! Well done!
Wishin you all a lovely Easter and I look forward to welcoming Team Calder into Cook School when we return in April.
