Good afternoon,
This week in Geography we compared physical and human features in Poland and the United Kingdom. We used bar charts to compare the data and found some interesting similarities and differences. In English, we continued our non-chronological report all about Poland which included all the facts we had researched and the layout and language features we have been learning about.
Creative Curriculum: Next week we are continuing our topic of ‘What’s life like in Poland?’ and we are going to compare how similar Poland’s settlements are to the UK.
Maths Year 3 - We are continuing our topic on multiplication and looking at the nine times tables.
Maths Year 4 - We are focussing on multiplicative relationships and exploring how changing the factor affects the product.
PE Year 3 & 4 - Due to the training day on Friday, all LKS2 have PE on Monday and Tuesday and need to come in their PE kits on these days.
PSHE Year 3- We are starting our new topic ‘Relationships’. We will be looking at how to know and identify the roles and responsibilities of each member of my family (as well as others) and that gender stereotypes can sometimes be unfair.
PSHE Year 4-We are starting our new topic ‘Relationships’ and will be starting by looking at identifying someone they love and expressing why they are special to them (including those in adult relationships), and knowing how most people feel when they lose someone or something they love.
Homework: To eat lots of Easter eggs and have fun doing great activities!
Don’t forget to keep checking Twitter to see what learning we have been up to!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
