STAYNOR HALL ACADEMY NEWSLETTER
Friday 20th December 2024
Dear Families,
We have come to the end of the Autumn Term which has been filled with many learning experiences for our children supporting their growth and development across the term. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the staff for their work, dedication and commitment throughout the term for everything they have done and continue to do for our school community.
Children in Key Stage 2 have had a wonderful morning at the Cast Theatre in Doncaster and thoroughly enjoyed a performance of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. The children were exemplary and a credit to our school whilst they were there.
All children throughout school have performed superbly over the last two week and we hope you have enjoyed spending time in school with us.
I would like to wish all of our families a wonderful Christmas and New Year, which is filled with happiness and joy.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 7th January at 8:45am.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Mrs Winter

If your child is too unwell to be in school, please be sure to tells us the reasons why when attending school.
If you are unsure whether your child is well enough to attend school, please give us a call and we will be happy to advise.
Have an amazing Christmas and New year!

Mr Metcalfe
Please can we ask that your child does not ride their bikes or scooters on the school grounds.
Please can children not play on the wooden trim trail before and after school.
Please can children not play football on the field and playground before or after school.
As the school continues to grow the playground is getting busier and busier and it is important we keep everyone safe.
We would also like to encourage parents and children to not cross roads where visibility is reduced and to make sure that all are looking before crossing roads.

What's Cooking?
Team Esk have been in Cook School this week. They have had lots of fun making/decorating Christmas Stars and presents. They have learnt about basic hygiene and had the opportunity to experience art works with a food focus. They have showed excellent hand/eye coordination skills and produced some wonderful biscuits. They enjoyed eating their 'present' biscuit whilst listening to a Christmas story. Well done Team Esk, it has been a pleasure having you all in Cook School.
May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I look forward to baking with lots more children in the new year.
