Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon,

What a wonderful half term the children have had. I am so incredibly proud of how hard they have all worked. 

I hope they all have a restful half term, ready for their final half term in their Staynor Hall journey. 

Coming up next week: 

On Monday 3rd, Team Humber will have a whole class leavers' photo taken. 

On Monday, we have an exciting Hindu workshop, where we are looking at traditions and beliefs. 

On Tuesday 4th, we are visiting Armley Mills. Please see additional Parent Hub messages about this. 

Learning next week: 

PSHE - we will be looking at control and power in relationships, including looking at what grooming is and what it might look like. 

English - we will be writing stories based on the short film, Alma. 

Creative curriculum - we will be looking at what occupations people had in the Victorian era. 

Science - the children will be learning about the main parts of the human circulatory system
