Good afternoon, 

The children loved spending time with Horton Park Primary pupils on Thursday and it is such a great link to have. We hope you have a lovely half term. 

After half term: 

On Tuesday is our visit to Armley Mills

English: Year 5 - We will be continuing to write our story based on the life of a victorian child really focusing on inverted commas and the use of adverbial phrases after inverted commas. 

Maths: Year 5 - the children will be looking fractions of number. 

Curriculum - The children will visit Armley Mills and experience life as a child in a victorian mill and school. 

PSHE

To know how girls’ and boys’ bodies change during puberty and understand the importance of looking after themselves physically and emotionally.
