Coming up next week:
Next Wednesday is our KS1 trip to Cannon Hall Farm. Please ensure that all children bring a water bottle with them and weather dependent, bring a coat or sun hat/sun cream. Drop off and pick up time will remain as normal.
Next Friday is also a staff training day so school will be closed.
The children will also get the chance to watch the dress rehearsal of Peter Pan on Monday morning. We can’t wait to see it! If you would like to see the Year 4, 5 and 6s perform Peter Pan for yourselves, more information is on parent hub.
English- The children will be exploring the features of a diary and thinking about what it would have been like and how it would have felt to live in a Victorian workhouse.
Maths -
Year 1 will be sequencing events in chronological order, recognising and using language relating to dates (days of the week, months of the year) and beginning to tell the time to the hour, drawing the hands on a clock face to show these times.
Year 2 will continue to explore the relationship between the 5x and 10x table
PSHE-
Year 1- The children will be developing their understanding of private parts being private. This will include the vocabulary: Private parts, pants, consent, personal space.
Year 2 are continuing to look at life cycles and what happens as we get older and will also look at what personal boundaries are and understand that other people need to ask to come into our personal space.
