Dear Families,
This week saw the children moving into their new classrooms for 2 days of transition as well as some of our Year 6 children visiting their new high school. I felt so proud of every child for embracing their new environments and for completing some wonderful work, some of which I know will go on their classroom walls in September. Next week we will have more of our Year 6 children visiting their high school and we hope they have a wonderful time!
The end of the school year is always a time of natural transition for staff and we will be saying goodbye to some of our support staff. Ms Greenwood, Mrs Tock and Miss Richardson will be leaving us to embrace new adventures and we wish them all the very best. I would like to thank each of them for their care, support and dedication to our school community, we are so grateful for everything they have done to support all of our children while they have been working with us.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and the sun continues to shine,
Mrs Winter

What's Cooking?
I have been working with children from Team Humber this week and we have been making Fruit Scones! They have had the opportunity to use many skills including mixing, whisking, weighing, measuring and cutting. They also did a brilliant job of tidying up after themselves! The scones they have made look amazing - I am so proud of them all and how much they have learnt in Cook School. I will continue to work with children from Team Humber next week.
Team Humber are really looking forward to sharing their bakes with you on the evening of the Year 6 Graduation which is on Wednesday 17th July.

Wednesday afternoon the hall was transformed into Staynor Hall's very first art gallery! It was wonderful to have the opportunity to display the children's portraits which they have worked so hard creating. The hall was bursting with colour and creativity! Thank you so much to those who attended and purchased a portrait. We have raised a total of £480.
We hope you enjoyed viewing the children's fantastic creations!
