WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
Friday 19th January 2024
Dear Families,
Feedback from parents is very important to us and we know that communication is something that parent talk to us about, we strive to improve on how we communicate to you to ensure we are doing this as effectively as possible, without overloading you with information.
This week, rather than receiving separate parent hubs from class teachers, we are adding all of the class information to the weekly newsletter. When you click on the three lines in the top left corner, you can go to the drop down and select your child's class weekly update (for now this is for Y1-6 but will include EYFS in the future). We have also created links for clubs and a calendar which provide important reminders.
We hope that by collating all of the information into one document you will receive less parent hub notifications throughout the week.
Thank you as always for your continued support.
Have a lovely weekend,
With warm wishes
Mrs Winter
What's Cooking?
Team Wharfe have been in Cook School this week making some delicious healthy sandwiches. They have followed a set of instructions and have demonstrated that they can make healthy choices such as using wholemeal bread, selecting a good choice of protein and choosing salad items. They have also had the opportunity to practise their spreading and cutting skills. They then enjoyed listening to 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' whilst eating their amazing sandwiches which they insisted were delicious!
Next week, Team Aire will be joining me in Cook School to make some more delicious sandwiches.

Cook School Lead
The safety of our children is of paramount importance and we politely ask that if your child is not in EYFS (Esk, Tiny Steps, or Reception) please ask them not to play in the EYFS area or play with the equipment.
We would ask they remain on the playground and stand outside their classroom door.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Please be aware that all parents, carers and visitors are able to access the accessible parking throughout the school day.
Even though the gates are close they can easily be opened up and closed again. If you require support please call the office on 01757 616428 and someone will come and support you.
