Resources

Quick Links:

Clever - Inside Clever you will be able to find multiple different resources that we will be using throughout the year! Clever is also bookmarked at the top right of your window in the blue C picture.

Once on Clever you will find a picture of a purple owl labeled "MRS. AMES Page". From here you will be able to find the following resources - and more!

SeeSaw - This is your "classroom" you will become very familiar with SeeSaw during distance learning! We will be turning in all of our work to SeeSaw! Students will be able to do a wide variety of work on this platform as it allows them to draw, record, speak, type and write their answers!

MobyMax - This resources might be one you're already familiar with. MobyMax does a great job of providing students with work that aligns to what we are doing in class. They have a variety of topics such as; reading, foundational skills, math, math facts and more! Looking for some enrichment work? Putting your student on this will increase their skill level the more they successfully accomplish different tasks!

Zearn - This app follows along with our Eureka (math curriculum) perfectly. It allows students to get extra help and practice with the lesson that they've already received!

Happy Numbers - Using this resource you'll be able to practice our math concepts that we'll be learning with our first grade math curriculum. It follows right along with our pacing so that you can practice what you're learning! You will also take a placement test so that you can move behind or ahead of where we are!

(Vocabulary)SpellingCity is a resource that first grade is going to be using this year to help students with their spelling and reading/sight words!

SpellingCity is not offered by the school district and is an outside resources. Because of this, you will need to access SpellingCity through the link provided up above. If you would like to use the bookmark tool on your chromebook to save the sight, that would work too!

SpellingCity allows students to play games and do word work with each of their words for the week. They follow along with the story that we will do each week in our Journey's book. In order to successfully access your account, please use the bookmark we provided you at conferences that has your SpellingCity information on it!
