ESD Curated Curriculum Teacher Toolbox
This Teacher Toolbox was shared by the district via email and contains elementary and secondary resources as well as e-learning strategies
If you haven't used Google Sheets much, there are tabs at the bottom of the sheet; by default, it opens to Elementary resources, but you can select the appropriate tab at the bottom to navigate to other resources
EHS Library Databases
Here is a link to the updated databases document: 2020 EHS Library Databases
Additionally, if you are trying to steer students to the right place on our school website, this link will take them to the student page.
Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC) Databases
For the time being, CLiC Databases are available for free at this site.
Newsela
This gives you access to Newsela content for ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Social Emotional Learning resources
OpenStax Textbooks and Resources
OpenStax textbooks are geared toward college-level classes, but they are 100% OER (open educational resource). There are several subjects written at different levels and because they are licensed with a Creative Commons license, they can be remixed and shared without worrying about copyright violation (as long as you attribute)
I have been adapting their A&P book all year for my Human Anatomy and Physiology textbook. Each page of the text I have been adapting has the attribution at the bottom of the page, so it is easy to attribute.
OpenStax is a non-profit housed at Rice University in Texas, but they have a lot of partners who design courses and create aligned resources that normally have a subscription fee. Many of those partners are now making their resources free to support online learning.
PBS Learning Media
There are great resources for a lot of different subject areas and age levels on PBS LearningMedia.
While there are lots of videos, there are also simulations and full lesson plans complete with curated resources.
