Hello! You have made it to the ESC High School Counseling page where you can find all things graduation requirements, testing, college and career planning, scholarships, and any upcoming important dates and announcements.
This is my second year at ESC, and I am so excited to begin year 2 with a great group of students and staff! I also get to coach junior high volleyball and assist coaching in high school track and field!
I earned my undergraduate degree from Buena Vista University in Psychology and Human Services in 2019, and just recently graduated in May of 2024 with my Master's of Science in Education - Professional School Counseling from the same institution. Although I do not have a teaching background, I have spent my whole working career in schools as a para-educator and coach at Sioux Central and Manson Northwest Webster, my hometown where I graduated high school in 2016. I have spent time as a special education associate in the traditional school and in a transitional school at a juvenile residential treatment home, as well as 2 years in my own classroom leading a credit recovery program. Coaching for the last 8 years has been an awesome, rewarding addition to being an educator having experience in junior high volleyball, girl's basketball, track and field, and high school volleyball and girl's basketball.
I am thrilled to be your high school counselor and help you in all the ways you need to be successful and fulfill your potential both now and after high school! Go RAIDERS!
