Hello! My name is Mrs. Isaksson. This will be my third year teaching at Wescosville Elementary School and I am very excited to be your 3rd grade teacher! We will be learning many new, fun, and interesting things this school year and I can't wait to meet you all!
After graduating from Slippery Rock University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special & Elementary Education, I began teaching in the Allentown School District. I taught there for 22 years and in that time I was a learning support teacher and then I taught 4th, 3rd, and most recently 2nd grade. In May of 2018, I received my Masters in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University.
When I am not teaching or thinking about school, I enjoy walking our dog, Piper, shopping, exercising, and spending time with our friends and family. I also love watching my son and daughter play sports.
My son, Simon, graduated last year from Emmaus High School and is in college now. He loves soccer, lifting weights, hanging out with his friends, and traveling! My daughter, Sofia, is in 11th grade this year and she also loves soccer, lacrosse, being with her friends, and traveling! They keep my husband and I very busy and many weekends you can find us all at the soccer field-year round. My husband, Anders, is a high school teacher in the Nazareth Area School District. He enjoys coaching, cooking, traveling home to Sweden, and watching his favorite soccer team, Manchester United.
