Homework

Your homework responsibilities:

• Take home the book you are reading and any notebooks you need for studying.  See below for homework expectations.

• Clean out/organize your Take Home folder daily.   Put any papers you need to bring back in your folder.  Keep or recycle any papers you no longer need.

Nightly homework expectations for ELA:

• Daily reading goal: read at least 50 pages in an approved book each day between in-class and home independent reading time.  You are expected to read on the weekends, too.

• All your homework should take you 50 minutes to an hour a day.  Example: If you have math for 10 minutes, study for 10 minutes, then you should read at least 30 minutes.
