Book Orders

Second grade is a very important time for stimulating your child’s interest in reading. Scholastic book orders are a great opportunity to help keep your child reading outside of school. For each book purchased by the children, our classroom earns bonus points towards free books!

If you are interested in ordering, please encourage your child to select books that would be of interest to him/her. Book orders usually arrive within 2 weeks after the due date on the order form. Families have the option of filling out the order form on the back of the Scholastic flyer, or ordering online. By ordering online you can also choose from a much wider selection of books than in the printed flyer. Plus, you can send your orders directly to me online and use your credit card to pay. It’s simple! Here’s how it works:

• SIGN UP at www.scholastic.com/bookclubs. On the parent page, click the “Register” button in the “First Time Here?” section. Register for your own user name and password. When prompted, enter the one-time Class Activation Code (GMR3X) This unique code ensures that your order is sent to me.
• SELECT the books you’d like to order.
• SEND your order online by the due date and your child’s books will be delivered directly to our classroom.

If you decide to order using the flyers that will be sent home, complete the order form on the back page and send a check payable to Scholastic Book Club (no cash please.)
