Mystery readers
We are excited to start Mystery Readers in October! Parents, grandparents, and special family members are invited to surprise our class by reading a favorite book. The students love trying to guess who the Mystery Reader will be!

Class volunteers
We love having families be part of our classroom! Throughout the year, there will be opportunities for parents to volunteer and help with activities. We are also looking for a few Class Parents to help plan and run our classroom parties and celebrations.

Starting mid September, homework packet will be sent home every Monday and is due back on Friday. The packet will include practice in reading, writing, and math skills that we are learning in the classroom and that can also be reinforced at home. Thank you for supporting your child’s learning!

Each Sunday afternoon, I will send out our classroom newsletter through Seesaw. The newsletter will include important updates, reminders, and information for the upcoming week. Please be sure to check it each week to stay connected with what’s happening in our classroom!

We love celebrating birthdays in our classroom! If you’d like to send in a treat for your child’s special day, please make sure it is a non-food item (such as pencils, stickers, or small trinkets). Thank you for helping us celebrate in a safe and fun way!
