Anyone can refer someone for help. Some students are referred by teachers or other school personnel. A friend or family member can also let the LMMS SAP team know that they are worried about someone. A student can also refer themselves. If you are worried about talking to your parents/guardian about your problems, we can help!
Students can make an anonymous referral at school by obtaining the referral form and submitting it to the SAP box, located in the center of the hallway on each floor of our building. Students and parents who would also like to make a referral can click the appropriate link below . Lastly, you also have the option of contacting the guidance office by calling 610-395-8593.

The student, parents/guardian and the SAP team will work together and develop a plan that will help deal with the problems the student is facing. The student assistance team will check in with your teachers to see how you are doing in your classes and other activities. This might include getting involved in school activities such as a support group or working with a mentor or tutor. The SAP team can also assist you and your family to find services in your community that can help.
Teachers and staff on the Student Assistance team will respect the parents, guardians and students privacy at all times. No one other than the SAP team and certain adults, who need to be informed, will know that a student is involved in the SAP program. If necessary, additional community resources will be contacted to help with support.
The SAP team maintains an extensive network of contacts throughout Lehigh County. Parents who wish to access the SAP Team should contact their student's Guidance Counselor through the LMMS main school office: 610-395-8593.
