ALL ABOUT ME AS A TEACHER
I earned my teaching degree from the University of Scranton and my master's degree in Early Childhood Literacy from Wilkes University. I was hired to teach fourth grade at a small private school in Clark, NJ. I, then, became a fourth grade teacher, and later a third grade teacher, at Hartshorn Elementary School in Short Hills, NJ. After my second child was born, I spent a few years as a stay home mom prior to becoming a preschool teacher at Faith Church in Allentown, PA. This is when I discovered how much I love teaching younger children. I set my sights on becoming an early primary level teacher! I taught kindergarten at St. Thomas More School in Allentown for 4 years. I taught kindergarten for 5 years and Macungie, and now I am excited to begin teaching first grade!

The picture above shows you who I go home to when school is out! I am married to Mr. Brian Farrell, who works at American Bank. My oldest son, Sean, is 20 years old and going into his junior year at Lycoming College. He enjoys playing lacrosse! Anna is 18 years old and heading to Bloomsburg University to study nursing. Liam is 15 years old and going into tenth grade. Liam likes to play lacrosse, football, basketball, and X box! We spent the summer by the pool, reading books, fishing, and enjoying extra time together as a family.

Favorite Food: Sushi, Macaroni and Cheese, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Ice Cream
Favorite Things to Do: Read, swim, run, travel, and teach kindergarten!
