My name is Dennine Cecala Leschinsky, and I am proud to be a mother of three East Penn School District graduates and a grandmother to a current student in the district and an infant grandson. With over 29 years of experience in education, I am deeply committed to fostering learning and growth for students and educators.
Currently, I serve as an Instructional Specialist in the East Penn School District at Lower Macungie Middle School, where I lead literacy and math intervention teams, coordinate the MTSS process, and provide professional development to staff. I assist with curriculum and instruction and work as the leader of the PBIS initiatives to create a positive, supportive learning environment for our students.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Reading from Kutztown University and my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Cabrini College. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of presenting at statewide conferences, collaborating with fellow educators, and staying at the forefront of literacy and technology strategies in education.
In addition to my role in the district, I am the founder and owner of Connective Intervention Services LLC, an early intervention agency that serves families in multiple counties. I believe that early intervention is the key to school success. Through this work, I help families support their children’s development, mentor a team of staff members, and ensure our practices are aligned with the latest research and best practices.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying involved in the East Penn community which has been such an integral part of my life.
Check out our Family Tech Resources Website! The purpose of this site is to provide both students and families of the East Penn School District resources on the technology they are using in the classroom. Some of the resources are created by East Penn, while others may be created by the companies themselves.
