Welcome to third grade! 

My name is Mrs. Harkcom and I am very excited to be joining the Alburtis 3rd grade team this year!  I earned my Bachelor's degree from Millersville University and my Master's degree in reading from Kutztown University.  I have been teaching kindergarten (and 3 years of 3rd grade) at Wescosville Elementary for the past 17 years and am looking forward to meeting new faces in Alburtis! 

When I am not teaching, I am completing classwork for my art degree.  I also love spending time with my husband and children (Rylan is 11 and Sydney is 8) and creating and doing odd projects around the house.  I also love animals including my dog, 3 cats and our hamster!  This past summer we went on a cruise and have been enjoying time in the pool, taking various day trips and visiting family and friends.

I cannot wait to have a fabulous year with you!

Hello 3rd Grade Families!

Welcome to an exciting year in 3rd grade! My name is Mrs. Clifton, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of your child’s learning journey this year. This is my fifth year teaching at Alburtis, and I know we’re going to have an amazing time growing, exploring, and learning together!

Let me share a little about myself: I’m a proud graduate of Kutztown University and recently earned my M.Ed. from Augustana University. At home, I’m kept busy and happy with my husband, our three wonderful kids, and our two playful pups, Astro and Java. As a family, we love going swimming, hiking, cruising on our golf cart, and enjoying peaceful walks with our dogs. Not to mention all Pittsburgh sports!

This year, I’m looking forward to building a classroom community where every student feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. Get ready for hands-on activities, creative projects, and plenty of opportunities to shine. Together, we’ll make this a year to remember!
