I am so excited to be your teacher this year! We are going to learn so many new and exciting things together. This will be my third year teaching. I previously taught 3rd grade and Kindergarten. I am absolutely thrilled to teach my favorite subject, reading. I love being able to give my students the same wonderful experience I had in school. I love making learning fun and creating a space for students to feel excited to learn.

Don’t be surprised if you run into me at Target or Starbucks. They’re two of my favorite places. I grew up in the Lehigh Valley. I live in Orefield with my boyfriend Jon and our Coton De Tulear puppy Rosie. I enjoy spending time with family, playing pickleball, kayaking, shopping at Lily Pulitzer, and making memories with my niece and my nephew. Kennedy is 6 with a love for soccer and the outdoors, her giggle brings me so much joy, and Gavin is 15 with a love for racing micro 600s around the country. You will catch me in my free time cheering them on!

I count my blessings everyday because I get to teach in East Penn School District. I earned my undergraduate degree in Nursing from Immaculata University and then I received my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from DeSales University. Teaching literacy is truly my passion, and I absolutely love what I do. I cannot wait to meet you, read amazing books with you, laugh with you, and share my joy of reading and writing!
