In our classroom, I'm a huge believer in one word: RESPECT!

Students should follow several important rules at all times in the classrom:

1.) Come to class prepared and on time with textbooks, pencils, binders, and notebooks.

2.) Raise your hand and wait to be called on to speak. Do NOT shout out during class.

3.) Give Respect, Get Respect. At all times, we must be respectful to one another.

4.) Use appropriate language and come to class with a POSITIVE attitude!

Whenever you are absent, YOU are RESPONSIBLE for seeing me to get the work you missed. If you know in advance that you will be absent from class, you need to see me BEFORE the absence. You have the same number of days as you were out to make up any missed work. I WILL NOT HUNT YOU DOWN FOR ASSIGNMENTS!!! Feel free to check this website for updated class assignments, hand-outs, and important due dates.

I am always here to help you. If you are struggling and need extra help, I am available before homeroom and after school. I also recommend that you make a "study buddy" in you class and help each other out. If you have any study halls, feel free to visit the Learning Lab located in the EHS library.

If you pay attention, ask questions, and participate, you should do just fine. If you do not make the effort, you are only hurting yourself in the long run. Best of Luck for a SUCCESSFUL school year!
