Meet Ms. Trautmann

Hello!  My name is Ms. Trautmann, and this is my tenth year of teaching.  I grew up in the East Penn School District, and I am a former LMMS band student!  After graduating from Emmaus, I went to Penn State to learn how to be a music teacher (Go State!).   I then spent three years teaching elementary band in the Philadelphia area before returning to East Penn in 2018. In addition to my degree from Penn State, I also received a master's degree in music education from the University of the Arts.

I play the bassoon, but the instrument that I played in middle school was the flute.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, baking, running, riding my bike, playing board games, and spending time with my family and friends!

I am excited for a great year of music making in LMMS bands!
