Hello and welcome to first grade at Macungie Elementary!  My name is Mrs. Kristen Bruckner. I am a graduate of Bloomsburg University, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  Later I earned a Master's Degree in Technology-Based Elementary Education from Lehigh University.  This is my nineteenth year teaching first grade and I absolutely love it!  First grade is such a special year!   It is a year full of growth and lots of fun! 

 Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, crafting, baking, vacationing at the beach and spending time with my husband, our three children and our puppy, Bella.  I also spend lots of time on the sidelines cheering on my kids in all of their different sports and activities.  

I am looking forward to meeting all of my new first grade friends and working together with their families.  I know it is going to be an AMAZING year!
