Q: How many books can I check out at a time?
A: Five.Â
Q: How long may I keep my library books?
A: Three weeks! The due date is always stamped in the back of each book. If you need to keep your book longer, let Mrs. Magro know so we can renew it. You do not need to have the book with you in school to renew it. You may then keep it for 3 more weeks as long as no other students have placed that title on hold. There are no fines for books unless the book is damaged beyond repair or lost, at which point the student is responsible for the full purchase price of the book or a donated copy in good condition.
Q: At what times of the school day may I visit the library?
A: Great question! Please come visit before homeroom (or during, with your teacher's permission), during activities at lunch, with your scheduled classes, or during 9th period.
Q: Are there any major library rules?
A: Respect each other, respect our technology, and respect the books. Whispering not necessary. All building rules apply.
Q: Have you read every book in the library?
A: No! But I do try to know something about almost all of them.
