My name is Jonathan Chase. I grew up in Easton and graduated from Lafayette college with a degree in Government and Law. I have had a couple of career paths before settling on education, both blue collar and white.
After substitute teaching in New Jersey for a few years, I started my career at Lincoln as the director of the onsite day care from 1999 to 2001. During that time I attended DeSales University to earn my teaching certificate. I did my student teaching at Lincoln in 2001 in both 5th and 1st grades. I was hired to teach second grade in the fall of 2002. I taught 2nd grade for 21 years and moved up to 5th grade in 2023.
Over the years, I have been the lead teacher at Lincoln and the Second grade team leader for EPSD. I have taught summer and after school programs as well. I have been very fortunate to be a member of the Lincoln community of teachers and families.Â
I live in Whitehall. I have no pets unless you count my 3 children. I spend my time outside of school building and fixing stuff, hiking, and playing disc golf.
