Jazz Band

Jazz Band is an after school ensemble for students who play the following instruments:

• Trumpet

• Saxophone

• Trombone

• Baritone

• Tuba

• Piano

• Electric Guitar

• Electric or String Bass

• Drum Set

Students who play piano, guitar, bass, and drum set must have experience on these instruments and must take private lessons.  Students who play these instruments will be asked to audition so to evaluate the ability level of the musician.

Jazz Band takes place mostly on Tuesdays after school from October through early May.  Rehearsals end at 4:00 pm.  A late bus is available for students if they cannot get a ride home from a parent.

Miss England uses a Schoology Group for all jazz band dates, paperwork and communication. Parents, please get in the habit of checking Schoology regularly for important information.
