Summary:
A tough gumshoe of a cat--the name's Muffin--protects his territory: The Little Bear Bakery. But there are no bears here. Not on Muffin's watch.
One night, Muffin hears a suspicious noise. Mouse? Raccoon? Bat? Nope, not the usual suspects. But Muffin hears . . . growling. Could it be? Yup. A bear. Just a cub. Whose stomach is definitely growling. Muffin's got this case solved--clearly this bear needs some donuts.
Summer, preschool parent: This title is great for teaching similes.
Regan, first grade and mom: We loved this book and read it many times. The dialogue was really funny! The cat was so spunky and was so sweet to help the baby bear. The illustrations were awesome.
Caden, third grade: It was about a bear and a cat.
Josie, third grade: It was great, funny and creepy. I liked it.
Juan, third grade: It's a good story and has good illustrations.
Evan, third grade: I love the pictures! It's kind of funny.
Tyler, second grade: The cat is in the bakery. There is a bear in the bakery, too. The cat gave good to the bear! Then it was morning and the cat felt glad that she made the bears go!
