Literacy
Journeys -
Our Literacy block is comprised of whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction. Our Journeys program encompasses comprehension skills and strategies, grammar, and vocabulary. At the introduction of each story, a home letter will be sent home to identify target areas of instruction. We will take a grammar quiz and end of story test with each story. Students and parents can access Think Central for additional resources.
Research shows that you need to read to become a better reader and write to become a better writer.
