Homework-

Homework is meant to be a reinforcement of skills practiced in class. In 2nd grade, homework should only take about 20 minutes. Please contact me if you have concerns about your child's homework.

Fundations is typically assigned Monday-Thursday. It should be completed and returned the next day. A dictation packet will be sent home at the beginning of the week and it is due on Friday.

Math is typically assigned Monday-Thursday. It should be completed and returned the next day. You can access the math homework online through Think Central if your child forgets the math homework. It can be a challenge to print.

Reading should be done about 20 minutes each day. Studies show that the more you read the better reader you become. You can read real books, read on a Kindle or Ipad, and even listen to an audiobook. Read! Read! Read!
