In 6th grade, we explore the achievements of the earliest civilizations, beginning with early human migrations that populated the planet.  Our course of study includes:

Unit 1: Origins of Cultures and Civilizations

Unit 2: Early Civilizations (Mesopotamia, Egypt, and China)

Unit 3: Greek Civilization

Unit 4: Roman Civilization

Supplemental Unit: World Wars and the Holocaust

Supplies:

• ½ inch or 1-inch binder

• 3 dividers (Classwork, Practice, Saved Materials)

• Highlighter

• Dry erase markers

• Students should also bring their HAB and daily homework folder to class each day.
