Last Minute School Closure Policy in Regards to Lunch Orders

We want to remind you of Ordo’s policy regarding last-minute school closures due to inclement weather, such as hurricanes, power outages, and snowstorms.

In the event of a school closure, we will adhere to the same “day before notice” refund policy that applies to families. Specifically:

• Refunds: If they are notified of a closure by midnight the day prior, all families will receive refunds for their orders.

• Charges: If they do not receive notification by that deadline, families will still be charged for their orders.

• What this means for families? If you do not get a school closure notice the night before a potential snow day, you may want to cancel your child’s lunch order yourself before midnight as a precaution, knowing if there is school they will then not have a lunch.
