Here is the link for the student cell phone sign-up: Student Cell Phone Form
We are pleased to announce a new update to our PowerSchool database. Beginning this week, we have added a field for student cell phone numbers.
*The form is available for student gmail accounts only
This optional feature is designed to foster student independence and ensure we can communicate time-sensitive information directly to students in a more expedient fashion.
By having direct contact, we can provide rapid updates regarding:
Athletics and Activities: Real-time updates on practice changes or game delays.
School Events: Reminders for club meetings or student activities.
Safety: Efficient communication during potential emergency situations.
Privacy and Security
We understand the importance of digital privacy. All phone numbers will be stored securely within our internal database and will not be shared with third parties. This tool is intended solely for school-related communication to minimize class disruptions and ensure students receive information as quickly as possible.
Equitable Communication
We recognize that not all students have personal cell phones. This is an optional addition to our communication toolkit. For students without phones, or those who choose not to provide a number, we will continue to use email, social media, and traditional school announcements to ensure everyone stays informed.
Phone Policy Reminder
Please note that our current electronics policy remains in effect. Students will continue to have access to their phones between classes and during lunch periods. We view this update as a step toward more equitable and efficient communication for our school community.
Next Steps
We encourage students to fill out the form and we will add you. If you have any questions regarding this new feature or how the data will be used, please reach out to the school administration office.
Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our school community connected.

Last Minute School Closure Policy in Regards to Lunch Orders
We want to remind you of Ordo’s policy regarding last-minute school closures due to inclement weather, such as hurricanes, power outages, and snowstorms.
In the event of a school closure, we will adhere to the same “day before notice” refund policy that applies to families. Specifically:
Refunds: If they are notified of a closure by midnight the day prior, all families will receive refunds for their orders.
Charges: If they do not receive notification by that deadline, families will still be charged for their orders.
What this means for families? If you do not get a school closure notice the night before a potential snow day, you may want to cancel your child’s lunch order yourself before midnight as a precaution, knowing if there is school they will then not have a lunch.
To ensure that Ordo receives timely updates regarding closures or weather-related announcements, please add our contact information to your email and text lists:
Email: support@ordoschools.com
Text: +1 855-756-2909
Thank you for your understanding and support as we navigate unpredictable weather conditions. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please feel free to reach out to Ordo.
