Send in your Senior Portraits and Baby Pictures to Mrs Kulik!
Hello, Class of 2026 families. Project Grad of East Granby is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is supported by parent volunteers with the goal of providing a fun-filled safe graduation party in June (the night of graduation).
Throughout the year, our Project Grad team will coordinate and lead various fundraisers to plan and support the safe graduation event (venue, food & transportation) as well as to support other events and activities throughout the year, including the senior luncheon and senior class gifts. These fundraisers include the MCM Pie fundraiser, Bingo, Dodgeball, Parents Night Out, and more.
We welcome new fundraising ideas and encourage all Class of 2026 parents to get involved and help to celebrate our seniors. To get involved:

Effective immediately, due to the passing of Policy 5012 in May, community service will now be considered an elective credit that can be applied toward graduation requirements. The policy has been officially adopted and is currently in effect. Please see the attached policy document for full details.
Students may now earn 0.5 elective credit for documented community service.
To qualify, the community service must:
Be supervised (by a coordinator, leader, manager, teacher, administrator etc)
Consist of at least fifty (50) hours of actual service
Be properly documented and approved
This change does not remove the existing community service requirement for Civics class, which remains a state-mandated requirement for all students. Students must still complete community service as part of their Civics curriculum, regardless of the new elective credit opportunity.
If you have any questions about how to document your hours or how this impacts your graduation plan, please reach out to your school counselor or administrator.
Thank you for your continued commitment to serving our community and growing through civic engagement.
