My name is Wendy Kitto and I am privileged to be the principal of East Gore School. I am very proud of East Gore School and of the students who make it a great place to be.
As principal of East Gore School it is my pleasure to welcome you to the East Gore School website. I proudly lead a team of passionate, innovative educators and an efficient school support team of an office manager, teacher aides and caretaking staff.
We encourage our students to be active and motivated about their learning. Our school values are Honesty, Respectfulness and Responsibility and these are embedded in our interactions with each other. As a school we regularly meet to celebrate effort, success and achievement. Pastoral care is also a priority to enable the needs of all students are met within a safe and secure environment.
We have a focus on academic achievement for every student, ensuring that all students learn and achieve to their potential. We aim for students to be increasingly aware of where they are with their learning and their next steps. These are skills that are essential to enable our students to become lifelong learners who are positive about their future.
We believe that education is a partnership between home and school. We welcome and encourage parents and caregivers into our school.
