Kia Ora and welcome to East Gore School.

East Gore School is a U3, Decile 3 contributing school in Eastern Southland.

Our students are predominately from the area of East Gore and some students travel into East Gore School from the local countryside.

Literacy and Numeracy is a priority area in the school, ensuring all students are given all opportunities to achieve to the best of their ability in these areas.

Our school is well supported by the Board of Trustees. We have a small, dedicated group of parents who run our Home and School (PTA).

Our school roll in December 2019 was 128 students with 35% of these students identifying as Māori.
