Setup Canvas Access
Setting up your access to Canvas will take two steps. Your student will need to generate a pairing code with their Canvas account, and you will need create a login for yourself on either the "Canvas Parent" app (available on iOS & Android devices) or a computer via your web browser.
Generate a Pairing Code
Students can generate a pairing code to link an observer to their Canvas account. A separate pairing code must be created for each observer who would want to link to the account.
The student must go to their account settings, and select "Pair with Observer."
Use the six-digit pairing code to connect the observer who will linked to the student's account. The pairing code will expire after seven days or its first use.

Accessing Canvas from the App:
Search the App Store or Google Play for "Canvas Parent" and download/install.
Click "Find my School," and type in "Eastern York." Then, select "Eastern York SD - Parents." This will take you to a login screen.
If you do not already have an account, click "Create Account" below and follow the prompts.
