East Toronto BIC is a church where people are rooted in Jesus and connected in community, to reveal God's Kingdom on earth.

Our Values:

Apprenticeship: as followers of Jesus, we become more like him every day as we are transformed by his Spirit.
Peace: We pursue peace in love, aiming for unity (not uniformity) as we love like Jesus.
Mission: Led by the Spirit, we do the good works that God has prepared for us to do.

We are a part of the Be In Christ Church of Canada and hold to their articles of faith & doctrine.

Board of Directors

The board is our spiritual leadership, made up of 5 individuals who model what it means to follow Jesus, and who represent the needs and concerns of the congregation. They are also responsible for governing the church as a charitable organization. You can contact the board at board@eastbic.com.

Ministry Leadership

Our ministry leaders work in partnership with Pastor Jen to facilitate the ministry of the church through Home Church, Sunday worship services, programs and events, compassion, and spiritual care. They contribute to the vision and direction of our church and represent the needs of the people they shepherd.

Membership

Anyone who calls our church home and lives out our vision and values is welcomed to submit a membership interest form to the Board. This is membership for governance purposes and comes with a responsibility to show up and vote at AGM and other meetings. The membership list is reviewed annually.
