♪♫♪♫ Deer Run General Music Teacher ♪♫♪♫

     I have been working with the East Haven Public School System since 1995, the same year that I obtained my BA in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University (Go Blue Devils!).  In 2003, I received my Music Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut.  (Go Huskies!)  My main instrument is the flute, which I have been playing for the past 49 years.  I also play the guitar and piano during class to accompany the children's beautiful singing voices.

     Music is my life and I enjoy sharing the love of music with your children to encourage and develop their musical talents.   During the school year, students practice their musicianship skills in order to be able to perform concerts for our Deer Run School Friends and Families.   To find more information, visit Music Class Activities and Concert Information. Currently, I am performing alongside the amazing Jerry Cortez who is the lead guitarist of Tower Of Power!!!  It is an honor and a wonderful opportunity to be able to share the love of music with such a talented individual : )
