Teams must consist of 2–4 students.
Participants must be from Grades 5–8.
Each team should have a responsible mentor. Mentors can be responsible teachers
Teams must be formed with students from the same school and the same grade level.
One representative from each team should complete the registration form together with the team.
Teams must choose only one theme from the following:
Health & Wellness
Smart Schools & Student Life
Environment & Sustainability
The hackathon takes place on 13–14 March 2026.
The event lasts 24 hours of project work.
Participants will stay overnight at school during the event.
The location is European Azerbaijan School (Secondary Campus), Baku.
Projects must be created during the hackathon (no pre-built projects).
Teams may build any tech project, such as:
Websites
Apps
Robots/hardware prototypes (Materials will be provided)
Any other software or technology solution
All work must be original.
If using open-source code, it must be properly credited.
Registration responses will be checked for plagiarism.
No AI tools are allowed for answering the registration form questions.
Auditors will check team progress three times during the hackathon.
Teams will earn points based on how well their project is developing.
After each audit/checkpoint, the top 10 teams get to present their progress to the judges.
Final presentations must explain:
What have you built?
How does it work?
What problem does it solve?
What have you learned throughout the process?
A maximum of 15 teams will be selected to participate in the main event.
Final teams will be informed in mid-February 2026.
Only 3 teams will win.
The winning teams will receive prizes, and participants will receive certificates. 🥳

No cheating, plagiarism, or disrespectful behaviour.
Teams must collaborate fairly and professionally.
Any misconduct may result in disqualification
