By far the most played GHSA title in Georgia and at ECHS is Super Smash Brothers.  Being good is okay.  To be the best, it will take hours of practice with many different characters. Each year we field two teams for competition.  Teams are composed of four players; three of whom play each week depending on their weekly placement on the team.  Pick your player and see if you can 3 stock your opponent for that ultimate rush of perfection. 

With the release of Madden in 1990, no one knew what a success it would be, but 33 years later it has cornered the market as the football videogame.  In this title, each player is his/her own team and competes against other schools in Georgia.  No blaming other teammates for losses on this title.  It is all up to you.  Pick your team, pick your playbook (from actual NFL teams) and get to the gridiron to claim that ultimate prize - state champ!

Mario Kart has long been a go-to game for families at get togethers and reunions often played for bragging rights.  Now, PlayVS brings it to GHSA eSports for the ultimate boast - state champion.  Mario Kart consists of teams of four to five players with the best four competing in a series of races for the ultimate outcome: being crowned the winner.  Brush off your kart or cycle, select your character and get to the track!

Ink, swim and splat your way through this colorful 4 vs 4 team game with several formats ranging from Turf War to Rain Maker.  This game requires team work and communication not to mention the skill to splat your competitor back to their home base.  Matches consist of five different formats/game types, and you will need to win at least three games to win the match.  

Everyone who has a gaming system has heard of 2K especially if you are a sports enthusiast.  This is the ultimate game when it comes to basketball.  In this title like Madden, each player is a team on their own and competes against other schools throughout the state of Georgia. Matches are decided using a best two out of three format.   If you win two, no need to play the third.

This is where it all began as far as eSports at ECHS.  Three players driving turbo driven cars playing soccer on a three dimensional field.  You have five minutes to fly, smash and destroy all that are in your path to score that goal.  What cannot be awesome about that?  

This title can be played on Playstation, Xbox or a computer.
