I am a Native Texan who loves learning and meeting new people. For college, I attended Trinity University where I double majored in International Economics and Spanish while competing in Division III Athletics. After college, I obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching from Trinity University, and most recently completed a Globalizing the Classroom Fellowship at Harvard University.

In my past 17 years teaching, I have worked in public, private, and magnet schools in Texas, Guatemala, and Barcelona, Spain. I have taught AP Economics for 14 of those years and have had the honor of teaching unforgettable students from over 30 countries in the world.  This will be my 10th year at Westlake.

I now serve as a Master Teacher for the Council of Economic Education to help share my passion for economics with teachers and students across the world. I also help support teachers through webinar trainings with Econiful and CEE.

When I’m not working, I love time with my family and two children, traveling, running, and listening to live music.

I am eager to build more globally competent and economic savvy leaders for our future this year, and guide some students to pursue a degree or career in Economics!
