About Me

Hello, I am Shannon Haddon native Austinite and CTE teacher here at Westlake High School. I have been a proud Chap for 22 years! In my early years here at WHS, I taught and coached (basketball, softball, track and soccer). For the past 5 years I have been blessed to be part of the CTE department, teaching Principles of Business, Business Law and Accounting. I also advise our DECA team and am an academic coach for the UIL Accounting team. I am passionate about business and LOVE what I teach! Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband Mike and our dog Nicki! My hobbies include running, most water activities (SUP, wakeboarding, surfing,snorkeling etc...), following Formula 1 racing and volunteering in the Austin Community. I look forward to the new adventures this school year will most certainly bring and I am excited to have you/ your student in my class.
