6th Grade Social Studies

Welcome to sixth grade Social Studies with Ms.Whitehead. I'm excited to help students gain a better understanding of the world we live in. I believe in helping students connect what they learn in social studies to the real world by highlighting the relevance of the subject matter in connection to their daily lives. Together we will learn about world history, politics, economics, culture, and geography. 

I believe in creating a classroom environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all students, regardless of their backgrounds or identities. This means actively seeking out and integrating diverse perspectives into the curriculum and cultivating an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
