6th Social Studies
Course Overview
Our 6th grade social studies class will focus on world geography, specifically physical and human geography of different regions of the world. Students will learn about topics such as climate, landforms, populations, culture, and economics. We will use and create maps, complete research projects, and design presentations on specific countries or regions. The goal of this class is to give students a broad understanding of the diverse cultures and landscapes that make up our world, and to help them develop important skills such as map-reading, critical thinking, and communication.
