About Me

Over the course of my career, I have taught every grade level from Kindergarten to 8th grade and am thrilled to be back at WRMS this year teaching Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS 1, 2 and Mod) plus MAPS!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis in middle school (grades 5-8) from Aurora University. 

My husband, Chris, and I have three daughters – Alexandra (19), Adrianna (17) and Anastasia (15). My oldest is off to college this year at Belmont University to study Audio Engineering.  My younger two girls will be at Westlake high school as a junior and a sophomore.  Go Chaps!  I have always taught in the school district that my children attend and love the sense of family it brings! 

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, cooking/baking, reading, and playing a variety of sports.  I love to volunteer and serve my community, so you can find me coaching Westlake's Unified Softball Team and Spirit Team, as the Best Buddies WRMS Liaison, and volunteering with my daughters through National Charity League. I am a life-long learner and currently subscribe to a number of podcasts as they are the easiest way to keep me "learning on the go" while serving as a taxi for my girls' before/after school activities.
